General Information

Class Schedule, Offerings, and Designated Teachers subject to change.  The school year will be filled with new additions to our teaching staff, as well as, instructional opportunities with Master Teachers.

Tuition Prices- please see enrollment form.  There is a one time $20.00 Registration fee per student.  $30.00 after September 30th.

  • The studio calendar is designed for equal number of weeks per monthly tuition payment. In some cases a month will run 3 weeks; where in others it will run five. Tuition will not be pro-rated.  A child is entitled to a make-up class in any discipline age appropriate if they miss their regular dance class for any reason.  This make-up time will credit your child the number of classes they are entitled to per month, as well as, allow them to explore other areas of dance training for future enrollment interest.  If the studio is closed due to inclement weather, the teacher will hold a class make-up.  If you are unhappy with the studio closings, and would like your child to be credited with a class, they may make-up in any discipline age appropriate.  If you are planning on attending a make-up class we ask that you let the instructor know at the beginning of class you are a make-up student.  If you know you will be absent for personal reasons, or your child is sick, we ask that you phone the studio to inform the teacher of your child’s absence.

  • If you are experiencing extenuating circumstances and your child will be absent for an extended period of time, you must contact me at the studio and personal arrangements will be discussed.  If you fail to contact the studio, you will be charged regularly.

  •  Tuition is due the 15th of the month for the upcoming month. Ex: August 15th for September, September 15th for October and so on.  Any tuition paid after the 22nd of the month will be charged a $15.00 late fee.  Any returned check will be charged a $25.00 banking fee. No exceptions.  Tuition should be mailed in or dropped off in the studio drop box located on the wall underneath teacher’s mailboxes.

  • General information is posted on the studio message board.  Please be sure to check periodically.  Also, every effort is made to place information on the studio answering machine, please call to check for studio announcements; especially studio closings due to inclement weather.  Teachers will make every effort to contact their dancers personally however, to ensure you are informed, please call the answering machine.
  • Any problems or questions please feel free to contact me at the studio via the phone or a message in the drop box.

  • Students are to register for class in age appropriate level.  Teachers will use discretion in class placement based on dancer’s technical ability.  Dancers will be placed accordingly to ensure a thorough and efficient dance education.

  • Classes must have at least 6 dancers in order to run for the year.  If a class does not meet minimum requirement, students will be directed to another appropriate course selection.  Class sizes vary from a maximum of 12-14.  Production classes range in age, and class size will vary from 15 plus students at the discretion of the teacher. A teaching assistant may be used to aid in the instruction of larger classes.

  • Ballet Suggestions: *Ballet is a core course of study and is recommended for all dancers wishing to improve dance technique at all levels and in all disciplines.

  • Participants and their families agree to follow all enrollment, safety and studio regulations at ASITRD as per signed agreement.

  • Although Miss Tara believes that all dancers work hard and stay focused regardless of the color of leotards and tights, Miss Tara strongly emphasizes that appropriate dance attire must be worn during class study; this includes leotard, tights, proper dance shoes; with hair pulled securely off the face…
